PRESCHOOL & EARLY YEARS (Ages 3–5)
Stars Combo
JPDC's Stars program is exclusively designed for ages 3–5! Our goal is to instill a passion for dance while teaching correct terminology and placement in ballet, tap, jazz/creative movement, singing, and musical theatre.

Focus: Listening skills, learning rhythms, developing coordination, weekly progression, and enjoying the Art of Dance.
Stars Hip Hop
Packed with the hottest and latest moves! Led by top Hip Hop and Funk instructors, this fun, high-energy class builds body strength and awareness.

Structure: Starts with a warm-up, stretch, and across-the-floor moves. Dancers progress weekly in terminology and master hundreds of Hip Hop styles.
MINI PROGRAM (AGES 5-7)
Mini Combo
A foundational class where students gain a solid understanding of tap, ballet, and jazz.

Focus: Rhythms, musicality, terminology, discipline, respect, and coordination.
Mini Hip Hop
Taught by JPDC's premier Hip Hop and Funk instructors! Dancers work on body strength, awareness, and fresh choreography.

Structure: Warm-up, stretching, across-the-floor exercises, and mastering modern styles
CORE DISCIPLINES
Class Highlights:
Ballet
The foundation of ALL dance. Focuses on proper technique, alignment, muscular control, traditional barre work, center combinations, and etiquette. Recommended for all dancers.
Tap
Focuses on sound, rhythm, and mind-to-feet connection across all music styles. JPDC is nationally recognized for excellence in tap!
Jazz
Technique-focused. Begins with strength and stretch warm-ups, progressing to across-the-floor work and dynamic combinations. (Ballet highly recommended).
Lyrical
Blends jazz and ballet to interpret musicality and song lyrics. Focuses on warm-ups, across-the-floor work, choreography, and improvisation. (Ballet required).
TumblingIndividualized focus on strength training and progressive tumbling skills executed with proper technique.
COMBO CLASSES & SPECIALTY TECH
Tap & Jazz Combo 1
Students review and build upon foundational skills, terminology, and development in both tap and jazz.
Recital Note: Dancers will perform one dance in the annual recital in a single discipline selected by the instructor.
PBT (Progressing Ballet Technique)
Certified Instructor | Requires Equipment
An innovative body-conditioning and strengthening program using ballet-specific exercises with an exercise ball to train muscle memory, core strength, posture, and body alignment.
Students must purchase and bring equipment to class weekly. Check our website or email the office for the equipment list.
Dance Team Tech
Get ready for tryouts! Designed for dancers looking to prepare or stay sharp for dance team auditions. Gain confidence and master the necessary criteria.

Turn Tech
An elite technical class for dancers looking to elevate their skills.
