JPDC has been family to us. Our daughter has been dancing for two years and the studio is her second home. We love JPDC as they provide a dance education that focuses on the whole child and emphasizes community service, respect, positive role models, family and personal growth. We are very glad that we found your studio.  We're new this year to JPDC.  Prior to this year, we had taken some classes at the ____ (good instruction, but class wasn't fun), ____ (didn't learn much), and a program at Neva's child care center (____, decent instruction, but horribly managed spring recitals). Neva has enjoyed this class so much; Kelly Slavin is an incredible instructor.  I appreciate Kelly bringing a sense of fun! We were also extremely impressed with how well organized, efficient and enjoyable the Spring Recital was.  As a parent of younger student, I appreciated the thoughtfulness of rehearsing the younger classes first. Finally, thank you for honoring the graduates.  That was a very nice way to reinforce the importance of education for the younger girls. Thank you   - Molly L.

 

 

My girls cannot wait until Wednesday of each week.  They love their teacher and most of all what she has taught them.  They did not have any of the skills prior to her instruction for their routine.  Week after week, she was patient, encouraging and firm.  They took her very serious.  They practiced all the time and finally got it down. Thank you Jody for your studio, your teachers, and for who you are and your talent that you so willingly share with these little girls.   - Angel C.

 

 

Jody Phillips has given me so many opportunities!!! I was about to quit dance when my other studio closed but when I came to Jody's I started having fun and loved dance!! JPDC offers a great environment for kids to feel like they are a part of a team, that is supportive regardless of ability.  Every time I watch my child dance, I am amazed with her improvement, which means the teachers are doing a great job.  I also appreciate the conservative nature of the studio in costume and music choices--it is still fun for the kids, but never inappropriate.

I chose JPDC for my girls because of the unique opportunities and variety of teachers and styles that are presented to the kids.  The positive attitude of the studio and the appropriate costumes are also very important to our family.   -Lori H.

 

 

I had thought about getting my daughter involved in dance.  With 3 boys, I hadn't made time to check into nearby dance studios.  Luckily my neighbor had her daughter enrolled in the Tuesday Stars class at 10:30 am.  That fit perfectly into my schedule.  Hadley loves her class and lets out a little "whoo hoo" every Tuesday morning when I tell her it's dance day.   - Cindy B.

 

 

We have tried many different dance and gymnastics companies, but have finally found a home at JPDC because of the individual attention each child receives.  Jody and her staff treat each dancer as if he/she is the only person in the room.  They work hard to move each dancer to the next level. JPDC provides various forms of dance and many different opportunities to grow with weekend workshops and outside performers.
