Stars & Minis - Funky Town

11:45am - Arrive at SMWHS
12:00pm – Upon entering the auditorium all students for Stars & Minis Spring Recital find your group, sit with them, and then we will pull your group on stage. Ladies come with your hair, makeup, tights, costume, & dance shoes. Have your first costume on. Please bring your recital tshirt for our studio group picture after run through.
12:00pm - (approximately) - We will start at the first number in the line up and go in order of the show...
1:00pm (approximately) - PARENT DANCE for both Recitals - Parents we are asking you to be ready to go on stage at 1:00pm - we will run your dance at this time. Please be patient.
1:15pm - EVERYONE on stage in recital tshirt to take JPDC studio group picture & then we will run our Finale - ALL Students in Stars & Minis Spring Recital need to be on stage ready to go. Everyone needs to wear ballet, jazz shoes or tennis shoes for the t-shirt group photo. Following the group picture we will watch year-end memory highlight video.

You may take pictures and video at Dress Rehearsal only. SO EXCITED TO GIVE THE STUDENT AN OPPORTUITY TO PERFORM AND MAKE SOME WONDERFUL MEMORIES!

Show Day- Sunday 1:30pm - May 19th at SMWHS "Funky Town"

1:10pm - Check in with the “MARVELOUS MOMS”. Remember that you must check in and check out your dancer with us due to liability reasons. Recital starts at 1:30pm and goes to approximately 2:45pm. We will clear theatre following the conclusion of the recital. (approx.. 2:45pm)

Costume Check List for all Stars & Minis Classes:

Shoes -

Tap- Black tap shoes (no laces – must have tap ties) *Tap ties can be purchased in the JPDC Office for $5.00
Ballet- Pink ballet shoes. Boys: Black
Hip Hop –Mostly white tennis shoes or converse

Tights –Girls – Capezio Caramel Tights

Hair –Girls – half up/half down

Make Up –Girls will wear red lipstick, blush and mascara
