JPDC Ballet Academy

JPDC’s Ballet Academy promotes discipline and creativity focusing on building a solid foundation in ballet technique. Academy students experience a structured curriculum targeting and exploring each student’s individual strength and abilities while preserving and advancing in the art of ballet. 

The Pre-Professional Program is designed to provide training that meets the highest artistic standards and prepares students for a higher level of performance and experience.  Students will have the opportunity to take a ballet story line from concept to performance.  This includes learning and understanding the storyline, building props, staging, acting, and the performance aspect.  They will be doing two performances; one in December and one in the spring.  (Each performance is coordinated around Winter Wonderland and The Spring Recital to make sure there are no conflicts).
